Wake Up !

I had this habit of collecting articles and writing them all in a book when I was in my intermediate stages...I accidentally came across dat book the other day and as I was going through it, I found this one particular article..which was like so FAB ! I have like no clue who the poet is n all , but its a MUST READ ( Esp all you teens out thr..damn im not one anymore .. :( waaa ) Check it out !

If you are in your teens,
baby you've gotta be in jeans.
The code word becomes "Cool",
even if it makes you a pin headed fool.
There's no way to economise,
If so, you'l be branded as a miser in disguise.
You've gotta look hip and be dressed to kill,
If you want to fit into the popular bill.
Bunking classes is not a trouble,
even if marks are in zeros and its double !
Now the mother becomes a headache
and father a boring chap,
for which the blame is put on the generation gap.
Think for a second time dear
when you go for a cigarette or beer,
because life is very precious
and every passing day is auspicious.
Never mind what the modern funda says,
coz only when the sun shines you make hay.
So wake up and open your eye,
before its too late to repent and Sigh !!
